🥣 Ingredients:
1 sweet potato (3.5oz | 100g)
3/4 cup plant-based milk (6oz | 180ml)
1tbsp ground flax seeds
1tbsp apple cider vinegar
1tbsp maple syrup
1/2tsp smoked garlic
3 cups self raising flour (13oz | 360g)
1tbsp baking powder
1/2tsp baking soda
3/4 cup vegan butter (6oz | 170g)
sun dried tomatoes (optional)
Chopped olives (optional)

🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:
ℹ️ Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to to get the flavour you enjoy the most.
ℹ️ You can store leftovers in an airtight container or ziplock bag in the fridge for up to 3 days.
ℹ️ You can freeze sweet potato scones for up to two months.

  • Looks delicious, and I don't care for sweet potatoes. My only question is why do you add baking powder and baking soda if you're already using self-rising flour? I would understand if you were using all-purpose flour, but it seems like overkill since the self-rising flour already contains leavening agents and salt.

  • Hola estimada , yo quedé confundida con la receta , esa mezcla no se me imagina para nada el sabor , aquí en mi país al boniato le llamamos CAMOTE y es un amarillo pálido al cocerse porque crudo es del color de la papa ( patata)

  • Flaxseed seeds should not be baked at high temperatures.
    So what can replace it? maybe chia seeds??
