Steam veg with elec tiered steamer – cheap to buy and run. Highly recommend. Use tarragon ? Lovely herb. Good recipe
I also added the crispy onions on top towards the end of baking. It was so good and everyone ate seconds!

Did you wash the vegetables? I wouid steam not boil. I would also use the stalks as they contain a lot of goodness
