How I Made The Viral Brown Butter Coffee Creamer (A Seasonal Favorite)

The Coffee Mate Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Creamer is a seasonal favorite and it has gone viral across tiktok and other social media platforms, but sadly it is only around for a short time which makes it really hard to find (especially since it is SO popular). Since the demand was so high, I took on the challenge of making a homemade creamer that is almost an exact dupe of the coffee mate brown butter chocolate chip cookie dough creamer without all of the seed oils, no artificial flavors, and tastes just like a brown butter chocolate chip cookie!

In this video, I show you step by step how to make my homemade brown butter chocolate chip cookie creamer from scratch, all of the ingredients you need, and the measurements!

After we make the creamer together, I do a taste test to compare the original coffee mate brown butter creamer to my homemade brown butter coffee creamer to really see if I really perfected this creamer dupe.

RECIPE:

2–3 tablespoons unsalted butter (
1 1/2 cups whole milk (or 1 cup whole milk + 1/2 cup half-and-half or heavy cream)
1–2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar syrup
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or 1–2 teaspoons vanilla extract)
A pinch (about 1/8 teaspoon) of salt (IF UNSALTED BUTTER! OMIT IF USING SALTED BUTTER)
1/8 teaspoon almond extract (optional, but really makes it taste like a true cookie!)

store in an airtight container. Let it chill for at least 4 hours for the flavors to be enhanced. Refrigerate for 1-2 weeks (until your dairy products expire)
