dear january // cozy soups, vintage dishes, DIY floral fire starters, cool flowers garden
Welcome! There’s nothing like a home cooked meal, a cozy home, fresh flowers, and making your friends and family feel happy and loved. In today’s video we are spending the first week of January doing cozy and fun activities to embrace the snowy season. I’m sharing a new tradition called Soup Sundays and one of my favorite new cookbooks. We’re going to be making DIY fire starters with dried florals and then we’ll be talking all things seed starting. I’m sharing all the seeds I will be attempting to start this season. I hope you enjoy spending a cozy sunday in New England with me.

Candle Wax: is the exact one I used. If you don’t want to buy that large amount, you can use this similar wax from Amazon:
Dried Botanicals:
Cinnamon Sticks:
Clothespins:
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
2. Spread out silicone cups on a baking sheet. Fill each cup about 3/4 of the way full with the candle wax.
3. “Bake” in oven until wax melts, about 10 minutes
4. Once was has melted, remove from oven and place wicks in the middle. Use clothespins to center the wicks.
5. Begin adding your botanicals, working quickly before the wax solidifies.
6. Let wax melts cool completely before removing from the molds.
7. To remove, gently pull the sides and the wax melts should release easily.

I miss your soap business 😢
Dear Cathlien, nice to see you again, do take care. Skin care business is doing fine or not, I like you anyways, but to go out of that area, is very sad. Because you were fantastic in it, and you should make at least soap regularly, you are excellent, I mean really, creativity always helps going forward…….
