[SUB]Korean famous shop recipe! How to make Cinnamon Roll Scone? 【Xuxu Cooking】



🌿 Welcome to Xuxu Cooking! Let’s make Cinnamon Roll Scone! 🌿

Yields: 9

Ingredients:
-Cinnamon caramel sauce:
granulated sugar 50g, whipping cream 50g, cinnamon powder 3g

-Scone:
bread flour 200g, brown sugar 45g, salt 3g, baking powder 3g, cold unsalted butter 10g, whipping cream 195ml, sugar-free yogurt 10g, chopped walnuts 40g, egg yolk wash Q.S

Tips: All ingredients for making scones must be kept chilled.

How to make:
1.Add 200g bread flour, 3g baking powder, 45g brown sugar, 3g salt and 10g cold unsalted butter into the blender to crush until the mixture looks like fine bread crumbs.
2.Pour 195ml whipping cream and 10g sugar-free yogurt, mix well until no dry flour remains.
3.Dusting a little flour and place the dough on the pastry board, flatten the dough and cut it in half, then fold over and flatten again. Repeat for three or four times until slightly smooth. Then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins at least.
4.To make cinnamon caramel sauce, heat 50g granulated sugar over low heat until become caramel color, pour 50g whipping cream and stir well, then cook for 1 min until thickened and dark brown, add 3g cinnamon powder and stir well, then let it cool for later use.
5.Roll the dough into a rectangle about 5mm in thickness, then spread the cinnamon caramel sauce on the dough and sprinkle chopped walnuts, roll it up.
6.Cut into equal pieces, each 3cm wide, brush the egg yolk wash onn the surface.
7.Preheat the oven to 180°C/356° and bake for 18-20 mins. Once baked, let it cool.
