NUTELLA goes Plant Based but is it a GAME CHANGER? (Vegan Nutella reaction)
This Vegan Nutella reaction was such a fun experience! 🌱🍫 Trying out a plant-based alternative to the classic chocolate spread really surprised me. The creamy texture and rich, chocolatey taste were spot on, and I couldn’t believe it was completely dairy-free! Whether you’re into vegan snacks, looking for a healthier Nutella alternative, or just curious about trying something new, this spread is worth it. Perfect for anyone embracing a plant-based lifestyle or craving a guilt-free dessert option. Have you tried Vegan Nutella yet? Let me know your thoughts! 🌿✨
Vegan Nutella will be distributed starting in September 2024 through large-scale retail channels in Italy, France, and Belgium in the 350g format, and will reach other European markets in 2025.
Ingredients and Price of Vegan Nutella
According to Ferrero, the recipe includes “plant-based ingredients as an alternative to milk, such as chickpeas and rice syrup.” For this reason, the new version of the spread is “suitable for lactose-intolerant individuals.” Those who have tried it describe it as similar to traditional Nutella, but a bit lighter.
Here is the recipe shared by Nutella: sugar, palm oil, hazelnuts (13%), chickpeas, low-fat cocoa (7.4%), powdered rice syrup, emulsifiers: lecithins (soy), salt, and flavorings. The product is lactose-free and suitable for vegans, but cannot be consumed by individuals allergic to milk proteins because it “is manufactured in a facility that uses milk.” Ferrero specifies that the product is gluten-free and certified by the Vegetarian Society as “Vegan Approved.”
The recommended retail price for the 350-gram jar is €4.49.
