  • Dear Amazing Domestic Geek Family,

I hope this message finds you all well and thriving. I wanted to take a moment to share some important news with you all.

Over the past year, I've faced some significant challenges on the home front. Balancing the demands of raising two small children while managing chronic migraines has proven to be more challenging than I anticipated. Unfortunately, the toll on my health has led me to experience tremendous burnout, and after much reflection, I've had to make the difficult decision to pause my video production for the time being.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support you've shown me throughout this journey. Your kind words, encouragement, and enthusiasm for The Domestic Geek have been a constant source of inspiration for me. It truly warms my heart to know that my videos have brought joy and value to your lives.

Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and I am navigating these challenges with the well-being of my family as my top priority. I am taking this time to focus on my health and to be fully present for my little ones during these important years.

While I may be stepping back from creating content for now, I want you to know that I am not saying goodbye. I hope to return to making videos when the time is right, and I am able to give you the quality content you deserve.

In the meantime, I encourage you to explore the abundance of recipes available in The Domestic Geek archives here on YouTube and at thedomesticgeek.com. Hopefully, you'll find tons of great ideas to keep you inspired and entertained while I'm on this hiatus.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the most incredible community. Your understanding and support mean the world to me, and I am truly blessed to have you as part of The Domestic Geek family.

Wishing you all the best, and I hope to be back with you soon.

    Love always,
    Sara Lynn

  • Wow, thanks for sharing. I never thought about using green tea as a base for a smoothie. I'm trying all of these!

  • the only thing i would add to all of the recipes to give it a bust in taste, is vanilla extract, two tea spoon for each 8oz of any smoothie. i personally use white vanilla but the black vanilla extract will work just fine as well.

  • Nice ty❤

  • Cucumber has lectins.

  • Hi… Wow these look amazing! Im searching for measurements for green smoothies i always end up with 32oz or more ugh
I was using kale, spinach, celery, green apples, avocado, broccoli, cauliflower, banana or frozen mixed tropical fruit, and vanilla vegan protein powder and chia/flax seed (milled) mix.
Watching your video, it looks like you use 1 cup of everything and get a single serving size smoothie… Should I just stick with 3-4 ingredients and use a cup of each? I only want 8-10oz I'm obviously using wayyyyyyyy to much 😖
Thank you for any advice you can give me!!!!

  • You are making a smoothie why peel your kiwi you are throwing away great fiber and you will never know it is in there if you don't see it being made. After you taste it you won't be bothered by the skins again

  • Excellent!

  • What if I hate Spanish?! 🙄

  • Many thanks for the valuable information you've provided.

  • Avage? What it is? It is sugar liquid or honey? Sorry to ask you that.

  • Green tea as a base is a brilliant idea. It’s summer and I don’t want a hot tea so this is perfect. Much love
