  • Hi Marissa. I'm confused about how to make a short-cooked chuck roast, GAPS meat stock style. All the recipes I'm seeing say 6-8 hours or more, and the book says any meat can cook in 4 hours if you want meat stock. When I check it at four hours, it's not falling apart. So I'm unclear if it really can be done in less than 6 or 8, and unclear if this video applies to chuck roast or only pot roast. Can you help? Thanks. Also, what does glutamate do, why is it bad? Do you know? Thanks

  • What can eat as breakfast?

  • Wow! I love see children eating real nutritious food. Good job Mom.

  • Hi. Can this recipe be done on high heat instead of low? If yes, how long would you cook it on high? Thanks

  • one of the things i found more difficult is the meat cuts that we need . im coming from vegan and dont know what to ask my butcher

  • Love your videos Marisa – you are the best 💖 thought I would mention, I am sure you are aware but for anyone else – beets are very high in oxalates, which can cause a kidney stone. Perhaps it is possible to make kvass with another vegetable, not sure.

  • Hi there! I think you had a video on how to make your meatloaf, but I can’t find it. Did you have a meatloaf tutorial or am I mistaken?

  • could you show us how to roast chicken

  • I have tried to do the intro diet twice in the last year but keep stumbling because I cannot resist my raw dairy and coffee mix! I think this stew and some more meat veg variety will be enough to tide me over until I can (hopefully) introduce dairy again.

  • Is a crockpot a must have for GAPS diet? I have an instant pot already 6qt, but would a 7qt crockpot make life easier? Mh family of 5 would all be on the GAPs diet

  • Wondering what you suggest doing with the remaining liquid after cooking? I made this last night (yummy!) and there is a ton of liquid. Seems too good to throw out. I tried drinking it like stick but it’s so fatty on top (and won’t mix) and my tummy hurt after…

  • Do you drink the juice that’s left over like a meat stock? Do you drink meat stock with this? Do you also add some other side veggies?

  • Are carrots not considered to be a starchy vegetable?

  • Girl did you even wash your meat and vegtables?

  • Hi. Have you tried to make an enfleurage perfum using tallow and roses or jasmine. I have r

  • Do you leave the lid in vent or seal mode? Thank you.

  • Starting the gaps diet your videos are super helpful!

  • I’m looking forward to being able to make that for sure!

  • Love your cooking videos!! Keep them coming!

  • You don't need to use the slow cooker lid? Awesome!!! Nicki.

  • Looks yummy! What cut of beef did you use? I never know what kind to get for fall apart roast. Also did you cook it on low on the slow cooker setting? We love roast but I can never seem to get it nice and tender.

  • This is making my mouth water !¬!
