Finally perfected the vegan Big Mac hamburger! Just because you’re a vegan doesn’t mean that you can’t indulge in some junk food every now and again. The time has come for vegans to eat Big Macs!
SING IT WITH ME!!!!!!! —–Made with two vegan patties, special sauce, lettuce, vegan cheese, pickles & onions on a toasted sesame seed bun!!!!!!!

To make this recipe you will need:
sesame seed hamburger buns
veggie burgers of your choosing, cooked to perfection as directed
Big mac sauce (see recipe on blog)
finely diced onion
chopped lettuce
your favourite vegan cheese
pickles

Many years ago before I had seen or heard of McDonalds, I used to frequent a drive in restaurant called The Teepee. It was very popular where I lived. They had a burger called the Big Teep which was a double burger with a slice of bun in the middle, shredded lettuce and a sauce something like thousand island. Years later when I finally found a McDonalds I ordered a Big Mac and was stunned to be eating a Big Teep. The Big Mac was exactly like the Big Teep. I don't think anybody copied this burger, it just happened, but it was a shock.

This is not a vegan recipe (on my opinion), it is a how assemble a burger that looks like the Big Mac (buy your pre-made ingredients Vegan or not and follow along)… come on!
I like the show and even bought the book, but I don't like the fact of calling something like this a recipe. In the book is named the Mack Daddy (page 209)… but the only recipe there is the sauce! Your burger would never taste the same as mine which defeats the purpose of following a recipe. I would really like to see a remake with full recipe that includes the "burger patty"

I think it would be too much to eat two veggie burgers together because they're a lot thicker than McDonald's burgers. Other than that, this looks pretty good.
