Cooking Steps:
Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the tofu into bite-sized pieces and fry it until golden brown (if using). Slice vegetables thinly for even cooking. Mince garlic and ginger. Stir-Fry the Aromatics: Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add garlic, ginger, and chili flakes, and stir-fry until fragrant. Cook the Protein: If using meat, add it first and stir-fry until browned.
If using tofu or seitan, add it after the aromatics. Add the Vegetables: Start with harder veggies like carrots, then add leafy greens last. Stir-fry on high heat to retain crunch.
Prepare the Sauce: Mix soy sauces, oyster sauce, vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch slurry in a small bowl. Pour into the pan and mix well. Simmer and Serve: Let the sauce thicken and coat all ingredients. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
