Check Out this Healthy Kid-Approved “Snack Hack”! Super Easy To Make
This recipe: healthy kids snack was made 10 years ago and things have changed. This recipe can easily be updated by improving on the brand of ingredients you use. Specifically I’m talking about the peanut butter and graham crackers. Bananas haven’t changed much. All you have to do is use a natural peanut butter and better quality graham crackers like Simple Mills Sweet Thins Honey Cinnamon which are gluten free. These are what I use: (Affiliate link)

Here is a healthy kid snack that I still make for my kids. When they were little I made these all the time.
What’s great is I would make these and then store them in zip lock bags and place them in the freezer. When my boys wanted a snack I would pull them out and they were ready in a moments notice.
These are not only healthy but they taste delicious. Now that my boys are in their 20’s they still ask me to make them because they taste so good.
They are super easy to make too. All you need are 3 ingredients:
1/2 cup Peanut butter
2 ripe bananas
graham crackers
Directions:
Just mash a banana and add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter ( I like to use natural peanut butter to avoid the trans fats). Place mixture between two graham crackers and freeze.
The freezer keeps the banana from turning brown and they don’t get too hard either. This peanut butter snack just needs 5 minutes or so to thaw and they are ready to eat.
Try these and give your kids and yourself something healthy to eat.
Enjoy!

Such a simply recipe, yet my mouth is watering.. I had never heard of freezing them, which is so useful in the summer time. Thank you.

How long do you freeze them for?
Hi Mallory! Fantastic! I am glad everyone loved them!! Keep cooking! Thanks for updating us and letting us know about your experience.
I had to make a healthy snack for a class called child development for a project and I made this. Everyone loved them!!
I store these snacks in the freezer. They do not become rock hard and actually soften up in a few minutes.
Thanks, now my boys are adults. One shoots some of my videos and the other edits some of my videos. Neither is really interested in being in a video! I will work on that tho!
how long did you freeze them for?
Different strokes for different folks. Elvis did it
Will it be as good if I'll put the peanut & banana to bread instead of graham crackers? 'coz I'm thinking of trying that!
Wow, that's really simple but looks cool. The thing is I just don't have a "masher". Your kids must be really healthy to have you as their mom, why don't you make them your guests in some of your videos?
Yes! Adults like them too. My boys still ask me to make them and they are in their 20's!
I'd make those to eat myself! It's nice to have easy, healthy snack ideas for kids when you're trying to avoid feeding them junk.
