ONE MEAL OF 100% WHOLE FOODS = YOU WIN



I talk about what a lot about various exercises, but a lot of people point out diet is at least half the battle.

Diet (intake) is just as important if not more important than exercise (output).

It’s pretty simple… I eat clean overall, but one of my staple dishes I have nearly every day for lunch is composed entirely out of whole foods like beans and root vegetables. I serve it over quinoa or rice for a complete protein structure, and I use bone broth, green tea, or coconut milk (if I want to bulk up) for the base.

The fact that this dish is a cornerstone of my diet makes everything much easier.

Many people like to say “Live a little” and “This is no fun,” but let me tell you, the quality of my life has improved dramatically since I started doing this, and if “fun” is the question, I have way more fun when my brain and body work better.

The dish I have designed and refined over time I call: The Big Bean. It’s extremely simple and cheap to make yourself. When you concoct your own, try to come up with something that satisfies three things. 1) It’s healthy, 2) It’s affordable (saves you time and money) and 3) it’s neither boring you will get tired of it, nor too exotic that you can’t eat it every day. This is the holy grail of meal prep.
