  • Happy Sunday! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far! Thanks being a part of my family's dinner – Becky

  • I looked up that knife thru your link. It is currently unavailable. They don't know when or if this item will be back in stock. ☹️

  • Hi Becky! @AcreHomestead do you think you could give us your sister-in-laws salad dressing recipe, would she mind? I'm obsessed and always trying new ones! I love your channel and your meals always look amazing! Your Mom is so cool, loved her too! What a great team! We grow a lot of vegetables ourselves, so I'm quite intrigued & interested in that celery root! I'll definitely try it out! 🤗

  • My granddad used to serve celery root grated (a bit like grated carrot) with a strong Dijon Mustard vinaigrette! Thank you Becky and mum for your enthusiasm and all the cooking you do together! Love from Germany 🥰

  • Oh man, that roast and veggies, looked absolutely perfect. Mmmm and that dessert, perfection.

  • Becky, we love your momma so much! Thank you for sharing her with us! 💗

  • the leaves of the celeriac are quite tasty. can be used as herbs. We in Transylvania usually put it into soups.

  • Did anyone find Becky’s sister in law’s caesar dressing. I think she said she was going to link it, but I don’t see it. Anyone?

  • Wow! Not everyone likes that much pepper Becky. I use it, but I don’t know that I could eat that with so much pepper. What about kids, they probably couldn’t take that much pepper either. People can always add it to their own plate and food. Just my opinion. I know some people absolutely love it, but it’s hard to swallow for us to choke on it. Just a thought. 😉

  • I have some similar sheets with hot water and no products, love, love, love. They are so good. I only use them after all I’m done cleaning after a meal, last thing I do. There is no dirt left, so I wipe all the kitchen appliances, even the quartz counters, absolutely the best invention ever. I do not wash in washing machine. I’ll wash them alone once in a while in the sink with a bit of dish soap, and rinse products. They do the best windows in town. No drying anything, you just wash the fridge, etc and that’s it. So so good.

  • Edit: If you plant Bay, keep it away from structures. It will grow into a bush with roots that pierce brick walls.

  • Yes~! Do grow your own 'Laurus Nobilis' (culinary Bay leaf). They can be made into lovely topiary too.

  • I'm from Sweden and the dishcloth is a staple in every household here! I've always wondered why it isn't a thing in rest of the world 🥰 Love you guys!

  • OK, I just need to know what's bobbing up and down in the next room???

  • I recommend placing the can opener on the top surface of the can. Reason is that it will cut through the outer ring of the can and will sit on top or pop off instead of cutting the center ring which typically causes the lid to fall into the can. So instead of tilting the can opener on the side, just place it flat.

  • Oh. My. Goodness!!! This is everything I needed right now. I can't count how many times I caught myself smiling. Your mom is adorable. YOU are adorable. The way you just so easily interact with each other. And that roast! I was salivating the entire time.

  • So fun watching you interact with your mom and cooking together. Best video!

  • I am going to try celery root now

  • Such an awesome video and your mom is adorable. Such a great dinner and such memories you made with your mom.

  • It all looks delicious

  • I've been using Swedish dish towels for years. About 5 years ago I sent them to my kids as part of their Valentine's presents and they thought they were packing material and tossed them (before I got a chance the same day to tell them about it. I told them that they threw away one of the best cleaning products ever! (you can also throw them in the dishwasher cycle to clean!!)

  • You and your mom are so sweet together. What a precious relationship you have.

  • That strawberry donut cake looks so good!!

  • Been watching you for two years now. LOVE when you have MAMA Susan on with you. She is so precious and I enjoy your beautiful loving exchanges. Thanks for getting me also through the worst health issues. Your videos make life that much sweeter! Thank you for all you do to bring us all along on your magical journey.

  • I'm impressed that your mom knows what Tetris is!

  • Thank you, Mrs Becky! I had NO idea how to prepare for a dinner party with so many guests so I GREATLY appreciate all you've shared❤

  • I ordered some of those swedish cloths..lol

  • Looks delicious

  • I hope you get this message. Next time you make pot roast add cabbage. If you like cabbage it will take your pot roast to a whole different level. We like it with cornbread. Have a good week!

  • I love when you and your mom are preparing food for the family, And your parents helping in the garden. Favorite videos.

  • Love watching you cook with your mom! I was watching Sunday afternoon as I was preparing a roast dinner for my family. My 5 year old granddaughter came in and saw my iPad on the kitchen counter and she said are you watching Becky? I said I was and she precedes to climb up on the stool to watch with me. So we put you up on the big TV and the family watched while we finished bringing dinner together. We are starting AcreHomestead fans young

  • Very much enjoyed the video! One thing that was surprising was the peanut butter served with the veggie platter- never heard of that before. Seems unusual since there were other veggies like carrots in there too. Is that a west coast thing? Something different!

  • Those bread rolls look fantastic.

  • I love the donut cake. Becky your Mommy gave me an idea with her strawberry cake. I will let you know at a later date what I will make with her strawberry cake recipe. Thanks for spreading joy with baking.

  • Becky, you'll have to have a day where you teach your mom your bread and roll technique. That'd be fun to watch❤ God Bless you all!

  • Becky, if you don't use wine bottles that often, try to rotate the ones upright to keep the cork wet

  • Strawberry 🍓 🍰 looks scrumptious!

  • Omggg. Lovr your mom!

  • Great tip on the paper bag in the sink when peeling a lot of veggies! Thank you, Becky's mom! 🙂

  • I love watching all your videos.
Yum yum! My husband requested a pot roast this year for his birthday dinner! 😊(he says when we started dating back in 06 and I made dinner 1 night that the 1st meal I made was a pot roast). I was thinking it was lasagna but, either way he loves both of them. 😊😊
    Hello Susan 👋😊

  • I cube up unused sourdough bread and put it in the freezer for croutons. Like you, I’ve had loaves that didn’t rise and I still had no problems I grab a couple handfuls of cubes from the freezer, throw them in a cast iron pan on the stovetop I glug some olive oil over the top and then season it up. Please try it again because they are so delicious.

  • OH YUM! My mouth is watering watching your show!!! Hi Mom always a treat seeing you ❤️😊

  • Love vids with your Mom, and your sisters. Where do you get the towels from your mom was speaking about?

  • It’s such a joy watching your videos thank you Becky – seeing you and your Mum working together to create your delicious family meals is wonderful! All the best to you both (and the rest of your family).
