The Breakfast I’ll be Eating ALL YEAR for my Health. This is Porridge, but not the porridge you would think, this is gluten free, nutrient rich, cheaper, easier, and better for you in every way than your normal oat porridge!! I meal prep this for a healthy breakfast at least 2-3 days a week and I have through the last 20-30 pounds of my weight loss!!

No need for salt at all. Re-train the taste buds. Love your ideas.
Vacuum blend your berry topping and vacuum seal the container. It will last much longer.
While I personally wouldn't boil that fruit topping or use frozen berries, the vacuum sealer makes virtually everything better.
You could also try using buckwheat raw instead of the quinoa.
Unfortunately the body pod doesn’t seem to be on sale. The MARK code took off 20%.
Quinoa porridge? Who would have thought. FYI Anything above about 85c (185f) destroys Vit C. I'll have to try you berry thing but at a lower temp. Looks really good.
This is a fantastic idea! I’ve eaten quinoa and chia seeds for a long ass time but never like this. Can’t wait to try it!
time to start using grams for international watchers
Cool yummy.Jerome❤❤❤
🥓 🍳 there easy done
Your wife likes everything you make. Get someone off the street to taste it.
Yes, looks Mushy!
Two thoughts about porridge, esp. for Monica (bc I also hate mushy food, and bc I also didn't eat any type of porridge or oatmeal when growing up — my mother never made it):
1. Steel-cut oats have a much nicer texture than rolled oats ( = less mushy). Use regular steel-cut oats, not quick-cook, and make 4 servings at once to save time.
2. I cook my steel-cut oats with much less water than is recommended — that also makes them less mushy.
I am so glad I found your channel! The ideas i get from you are so helpful🥰thank you❤
You look much better!
Is it a "bell" jar or is it a "ball" jar?
Think I'll give this a try. Did anyone figure out the macros?
So what does this do to a diabetic's blood sugar?
You are so talented. I'm so impressed w/ your creativity w/ food. Will definitely try it
Since it’s porridge shouldn’t you say it’s just right?
That berry topping is pretty awesome!
I eat this all the time. You do not need to boil it. Raw has much more nutrition and tastes better…
It's a very nice recipe, but I would avoid adding coconut milk altogether, as it contains tons of saturated fats.
Thanks! I ordered my Body Pod before you even finished talking about it. I need it, I am serious about this health journey and you are such an inspiration. Especially seeing all of the WFPB options you are presenting us with. I am a raw vegan but still get so many ideas from watching you. My next experiment will be mixing teff flour with overnight oats or chia seeds.
Too bad it’s not organic. If you can, always choose organic.
What I’ve been doing for years is to pre cook my grains in the IP and then freeze in ziplock or silicone bags, flat. If you give it a shake every now and then in the first couple hours, it doesn’t become a solid block. I do the same for beans too. Amaranth that is super tasty in porridge I freeze on a tray and portion with an ice cream scoop. In the morning I mix and match my grains: a tablespoon of buckwheat, quinoa, sprouted oats or a “ball” of amaranth, whatever I want, I add some beans: usually Spanish pocha or cannellini, lentils or chickpeas, or black beans and add to the instant pot, then I add some frozen banana slices for sweetness, and a little water so it doesn’t stick: 5minutes on low. Everything is already cooked, then I open it shouldn’t be soupy, just right. Inswitch to low sauté and stirring I add some cacao powder, I like intense and bitter. Diluite with some soy milk, add Ceylon cinnamon and cardamom. If you pour very hot on some frozen wild blueberries or berries they will defrost and create a beautiful juice. Top with some nuts and be in heaven!
I’ve made an amaranth version with oat milk which is a nice alternative too:)
Awesome! ❤
Do you not know how terrible coconut milk for your health is? It's like cooking with lard
Meanwhile, every "Credentialed" Nutritionist says NO to Oats. Try again.
