💛About us:
Hi! We are Trey and Rosa, we have 5 kiddos and we moved from the big city of Las Vegas to the outskirts to homestead and grow our own food with the goal of self-sufficiency. We converted to eating plant based due to health reasons and we’ve seen the benefits it has done to our family!
We have a small homestead/desert garden and we are passionate about growing our own food, eating a clean & healthy plant-based diet, cooking food from scratch, and making simple skincare products for our family and for you.

  • Break the pasta in half before putting in boiling water, it is easier to handle it,

  • You lost me when you ate from the bowl and then used the dirty fork to scrape excess into the bowl!!!

  • No oil

  • OMG!! I'm in Love! Loved the spaghetti that will be on next week's meal prep! I had to subscribe👍🏽

  • look so yummy and delicious enjoy guys

  • Bless you for praying in Yeshua’s Name🙏

  • I’m in love with your food❤❤ That taco salad! And you are right about the beyond products. They are way better than anything thing else out there. What is your favourite rice? Mine is calrose. Just the best texture. 😊

  • Hi Rosa. Awesome video like always!!! I wanted to ask what brand of curry paste or seasoning do you recommend? I’ve tried two different ones and my family doesn’t like them like when we eat curry at restaurants. Also, for the taco salad, you guys can do a quick guac chipotle style with some chopped onion, cilantro and lime juice. Hopefully you can give it a try next time. It’s delicious 😋

  • It all looks delicious.

  • Everything looks amazing, as usual, I over here drooling, lol. I love watching you cook with such vibrant, fresh foods, AND that are high in protein! I have raised my 5 children (now all adults!) vegetarian since birth, and I'm sure you understand how people still don't always understand that you CAN and DO get protein from plant based foods! lol So, Rosa, when are you going to make a cookbook? I want to be on the waiting list for it! 😀

  • Lazy way to prepare garlic. Grate the whole bulb – skin and all. Pick out the skin and throw it in your recipe. It’s quicker and easier. I love Japanese curry too ! Yum.

  • Thanks for posting Im new to being a vegan so this video came at the right time

  • Jusr wondering would a rice cooker help? 😊

  • Great video ✔️

  • I’ve never tried Japanese curry powder but will look for it .

  • This pasta looks great Rosa ! I break the spaghetti before cooking as I’m impatient !

  • Thank you for these beautiful recipe ideas! Loved them all!

  • Taco salad is my favorite, too. Your meals look delicious.

  • That pasta looks so good! I have to try!

  • I always look forward to seeing your Sunday Morning videos. That brand of Blue organic chips are my favorite!
I do have a question though. On Curries. Do they all use coconut milk? While I love it some in the family are really NOT into anything with even a hint of coconut flavor:(

  • My "new year" begins on my birthday in August and I review the past year, set goals, priorities, and intentions for the next year and do a half-year check in each February and adjust as needed.

  • Good Morning Rosa, Rosa's family and everyone. Hope you all are feeling and doing GREAT. GREAT video as ALWAYS. Food ALWAYS looks YUMMY. Waiting for your next video. Have a GREAT week. 💕

  • The kiddos are growing up before our eyes!

  • I do fill out a book style planner every year. At the beginning of the year I sit down and fill out the whole year of what I already know. I start out by going through and putting in all the birthdays and anniversaries I need to remember and then I like to put in all my days off from work and my paydays. I check out the school calendar and write in my grandson’s days off and vacations. And every month I weigh everyone in the house—Me, the cat, and the dog! I’m getting a little older, and I don’t like working as much as I used to! I get tired quickly and after a lot of thought I decided to decrease my work hours. So my goal for this year is to clamp down on my budget and still enjoy my life tremendously! I cut my hours down a few months ago and everything‘s going great. I haven’t had to deprive myself to meet my budget, and I’m really looking forward to this year.

  • Love all the recipes you shared especially how you sneaked protein in that green pesto in the first recipe. Appreciate clear detailed instructions of each recipe. And always love 💕 your kids who love to participate and enjoy the yummy food you cook.

All in all loved loved 🥰 this particular format of video that you did this time.

I have a request. I know you have lots of videos that you have done for break making. In future this year, would you do similar video format videos for break making with option to bake in the oven m …
    1. Whole wheat bread
    2. Spelt flour bread that I remember you have made in past
    3. Any break baking video – I love all your healthier options.

Thanks so so so very much for everything 💕 🙏🏼

  • Great video, as usual. 😊
I might add a squeeze of lemon to the pasta sauce to absorb the iron from all of the greens. Have an awesome week!😎

  • Taco salad was awesome. Hope you are all doing well. Have a great day!

  • Here we are!

  • Yum😋I'm gonna try all these. That pasta looks so good. I think my autistic son will eat it. I have to sneak his veggies😂Love your videos!

  • ❤good morning rosa❤
