🌱 Delicious Vegan Burger Recipe 🌱
Ingredients:
• 1/3 cup red lentils (cooked)
• 1 sweet potato (steamed and chopped)
• 1/3 cup green beans (steamed and chopped)
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp paprika 🌶️
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder 🧄
• 1/2 tsp garam masala
• 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
• 3–4 tbsp breadcrumbs
For caramelized onions:
• 1 large onion (sliced thick) 🧅
• 1 tbsp date syrup
• 1 tbsp olive oil
For sautéed mushrooms:
• 1 cup mushrooms (sliced) 🍄
• 1 tbsp olive oil
For avocado sauce:
• 1 avocado 🥑
• 2–3 tbsp lemon juice 🍋
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp parsley (chopped) 🌿
• 1–2 tbsp pistachios (chopped)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the burger patty:
• Steam and chop the sweet potato and green beans.
• Mix them with cooked red lentils in a bowl.
• Add salt, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, garam masala, chia seeds, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
• Take 1/3 cup of the mixture, shape into patties, and pan-fry in 3 tbsp olive oil until golden. 🍔✨
2. Caramelize the onions:
• Sprinkle thick slices of onion with salt and sauté in 1 tbsp olive oil.
• Once softened, add 1 tbsp date syrup and cook until caramelized. 🍯🧅
3. Sauté the mushrooms:
• Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté mushrooms until golden and tender. 🍄✨
4. Make the avocado sauce:
• Blend avocado, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, olive oil, parsley, and pistachios into a smooth sauce. 🥑🍋
5. Assemble the burger:
• Layer the burger:
• Bottom bun 🍞
• Lettuce 🥬
• Vegan burger patty 🍔
• Avocado sauce 🥑
• Caramelized onions 🧅
• Sautéed mushrooms 🍄
• Sliced tomato 🍅
• Top bun 🍞
