#063 How to Deal with Stress as a Homemaker 🏠 10 tips for stress free homemaking
Hello friends And Welcome back!
Today’s video is on an important topic – how to deal with stress as a homemaker.
Homemaking can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with its own set of challenges.
These are my personal tips that have helped me manage stress and find more joy in my day-to-day life.
Thank you for watching!
10 Tips for stress free Homemaking
1. Starting the day early
Mornings set the tone for the day! I wake up at 4:30 am, giving me time to enjoy coffee, meditate, or journal.
2. Prioritise your day
I focus on 3 key tasks daily—this keeps me productive without feeling overwhelmed.
3. Prep the night before
Whether it’s breakfast, school lunches, or laying out clothes, small steps in the evening lead to smoother mornings.
4. Break tasks into steps
Big tasks feel less intimidating when divided into smaller, manageable parts.
5. Simplify dinner
Weekdays call for easy meals. I stick to a 1:2 formula—one portion protein, two portions greens.
6. Build weekly rhythms
Assign main chores to specific days. Mondays for laundry, Tuesdays for floors—it’s a game changer!
7. Take mindful breaks
A quick walk, stretching, or sitting with a book can refresh your energy and reduce stress.
8. Double batch meals
Freeze extras for days when you’re unwell or short on time. Future you will thank you!
9. Create a calming space
A tidy house and your favourite things (like plants or art) can soothe the mind.
10. Embrace creativity
Whether crafting, cooking, or gardening, doing what you love nurtures the soul.
It also gives you a break from the monotony of Housework.
Homemaking isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating a space where love and joy thrive.

Recipe for the Chicken Nuggets:
* 800 grams boneless chicken breasts
* 2 cups bread crumbs
* 1 cup fresh herbs. I used Parsley and Dill
* Dry herbs. I used 1 Tbsp each of marjoram, Thyme, Oregano and Rosemary.
* 3 Tbsp of sweet Paprika powder
* 2 medium Eggs
* 1 Grated Carrot
* 2 Cloves of Garlic grated. You could also use garlic powder
* 1 medium onion chopped or use onion powder.
* Salt to taste
-Pre heat the oven 20 180C
-Cut the chicken into smaller chunks and blend everything together.
-Add half a cup of breadcrumbs to the blender leaving the rest for the coating.
-Blend all the ingredients together. Save a bit of seasoning for the coating.
-Transfer to a bowl.
-In a separate plate or bowl, add the remaining breadcrumbs and seasonings.
-Stir well to break up any clumps.
-The chicken mixture will be very sticky, so you can either wet your palms to make the nugget shapes or wear gloves.
-Make nugget shapes and coat with the bread crumb mixture.
-Line a baking tray with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes at 180C.
-Serve with Ketchup or ranch dressing.
