Hey everyone, Merle here 🙂 thanks for watching and I hope I've managed to make vegetarian and vegan dishes a little more approachable, whether you choose to eat meat or not! Are there things about plant-based diets that you are curious or confused about?

That feeling when you're so good at this that people assume the entire channel is vegan, and are outraged when they find a non-vegan recipe. You really are so good at experimenting with food and inspiring others to have fun with cooking. Rock on!! 🙂

**Myth alert** at 3.40 – organic doesn’t equate to vegan… quite the opposite in fact.
Because organic farmers cannot use so many chemicals they have to use fertilisers from other sources and these are usually animal based fertilisers, often in the form of waste from the slaughter industry.
A popular YouTube channel really needs to do a big piece on this because it deserves a huge light shining on it.

Vegan interpretations are to capture the essence of the original. I love food so regardless I’m excited to travel the world and savor the labor of love on a plate.
I eat 70% vegetarian and 30% “normal” but i never eat pig, lamb or cow, never.

I have been growing my vegs for years, fun and I know what I'm eating. Also, if you haven't seen it "Clean food dirty girl" has great recipes for 5 bucks a week, the whole meal plan! I have been trying to do it for almost a year. Really good food.

Actually veganism is not a diet so you can't eat vegan for just one meal but you can eat plant based, harmless meal for just one meal and i think we can't call it vegan. But i get your point thank you for tips

Hi Merle! After watching your videos I stumbled upon "Cowspiracy", the document you mentioned. I've been vegan for a week or so now, and every day I wake up happy knowing that I'm doing something good for the world, simply by choosing what I eat. As someone with depression, waking up happy is a huge deal for me. So, Thank you! 🙂 Also, LOVE TASTY VEGETARIAN!!

I wish people didn't think only about animals when it comes to "cruelty free" but also humans. So many vegans feel better than anyone else and humiliate even other vegans for not being vegan enough, yet they support human exploitation by their direct choice of food.
