  • You could imcrease the flaxseeds or chia seeds to 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup in your. Instead of banana use half an avacado. Use more greens and less fruit fir less sweetness tasting. Find a smoothie tou like and use that. Also if you dnt like drinking a smoothie..make a salad. Use flaxseed oil in your dressing 2 tbs.

  • I lost about 10+ lbs with this method. I recommend this a few times a year to reset coupled with intermittent fasting time to time

  • I just happened to be doing this same 10 day cleanse, but have been intermittent fasting and juicing on and off for many years. The reason you were talking on not being able to take all the sweet in alot of those smoothies is more than likely if you added those stevia sweeteners. I've left them out of all the smoothies so far and they taste just right. Those stevia sweeteners are even ridiculously sweeter than normal sugar although they won't wreck your diet. My two cents

  • Whole foods plant based high fiber nutritional dense diet cover's everything. Blended whole foods juice every day sauna fasting exercise plenty of water sleep meditation family time destress rest from prayer to prayer. Then do it the next day. Don't think so hard about tomorrow. Just for today is all you have. Yesterday is history tomorrow a mystery . Today is what counts

  • too much fruit/sugars in my smoothies makes me break out!… a tip: add half an avocado for that smooth texture and herbs like basil for extra flavour and kick !

  • When you eat and you feel full but not satisfied your not getting enough healthy fats EFA's..coconut oil ..ghee…mct oil and you can put a tablespoon or 2 in your smoothies..it makes a huge difference and I used L-caritine it not only did you tells the body to burn stored fat for energy but it takes away your cravings and appetite

  • I’ve done this a few times and when I have my snacks prepared and scheduled, it makes all the difference! And, when you fall down, get back up. I also have learned to only make the smoothies I love 💕.

  • I did this smoothie for 10 days right before my Sister wedding and lost 14 pounds. It was rough but I was determined to stick with it. This was a few years ago and I am thinking about doing it again to get the Pandemic weight off.

  • The first time I did it I lost 9lbs and it was so hard because I was starving. But I was happy with my results. I didn't do it to the t cuz I was snacking. But I did it a second time and I got sick, had vertigo, but lost 5 lbs lol. This time I'm doing it again the right way. Can't wait

  • You can use more greens than fruits in smoothies. When I started the cleanse I felt it was too sweet so I used 3 or more handful of greens with less fruit. I also drank a gallon of water per day to help the process.

  • i made a homemade tomato soup to help me out. very savory and helped offset the sweetness.

    A few tomatoes
    cloved garlic
    carrots from my juicing
    some sweet peppers
    half of an onion

    i roasted all the veggies in the oven. i blended all the ingredients in the blender and got a creamy tomato soup. you can add that over some zucchini noodles or add veggies to the soup.

    also you can substitute fruit for the less sugary fruit. use a green apple instead of red apples. in the book it talks about the fruit that has less sugar.

    I also dont used the protein powder in the smoothie. I save it for my workout smoothie and or use it as a dessert smoothie for a sweet tooth.

    I think the main thing is to have a meal plan. If you do the modified meal part you can spread your protein out over lunch and dinner. half chicken breast and salad for lunch and other half portion chicken and veggies for dinner. add lots of different veggies to each meal. I know a green smoothie with a salad is 😭😭😭. you have to get fuel every three to four hours.

    you have to drink lots of water as well I make my herbal teas and buy a gallon of water and make a gallon to pull from during the week.

  • I love when ppl are honest, this is rough especially the first time. I'm currently on day 5 of a juice detox(no food), getting to day 8 seems like a miracle.
