This is the God's word about John the Baptist, Matthew 3: 4: "Now John himself had his raiment of camel 's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey." The God sees no problem in eating honey and meat, but why? Here is the God's word, Genesis 9: 3: "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things." Yes, meat is a godgiven food. These words were told after the Flood: the climate was changed. Deuteronomy 12: 15-16: "Notwithstanding, thou mayest kill and eat flesh within all thy gates, after all the desire of thy soul, according to the blessing of Jehovah thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the gazelle, and as of the hart. Only ye shall not eat the blood; thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water." (ASV) A meat is a blessed food. Here is the warning, 1Timothy 4: 1-3: "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." The problem is Devil runs the world. He is liar and murderer. This is the reason why pagans are supported by authorities. This is the reason why many thousands of children under 5 die every day, but the inhabitants of Sodom don't notice that and struggle for animals' rights. (see Child Mortality and news, pls) That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. He has anointed the king, Jesus Christ. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our loved ones again! 🙂
