🌅 Breakfast Recipe: Christmas-Themed French Toast + Matcha Latte
🎄 Christmas French Toast:
‣ 2 slices bread
‣ 1 egg 🥚
‣ 1/3 cup milk 🥛
‣ 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
‣ Butter for frying 🧈(or sunflower oil)
‣ Strawberries (to make Santa shapes) 🍓
‣ Blueberries 🫐
‣ Whipped cream or yogurt (for decorating)
‣ Powdered sugar (for garnish – make it snow!❅)
🍵 Matcha Latte:
‣ 1 tsp matcha powder
‣ 1/4 cup water
‣ 3/4 cup milk 🥛
‣ Whipped cream (for layering and topping)
‣ 1 tsp sugar or honey (optional)
🌙 Dinner Recipe: Hungarian Beef Goulash
🥩 Ingredients:
‣ 500g beef brisket (cubed)
‣ 2 small potatoes (cut into chunks) 🥔
‣ 1 carrot (cut into chunks) 🥕
‣ 1 red bell pepper (sliced) 🌶️
‣ 1/2 onion (sliced) 🧅
‣ 2 tbsp tomato paste 🍅
‣ 2 tsp sweet paprika 🌶️（which we forgot haha）
‣ 1/2 tsp black pepper
‣ 1/2 tsp white pepper
‣ 1 bay leaf
‣ 1 tsp dried thyme 🌿
‣ 1 tsp cumin seeds
‣ 100ml red wine 🍷 (optional)
‣ 1 tbsp salt
‣ 1 small knob of butter 🧈
‣ 1 tbsp cooking oil
🍷 Optional Side:
‣ Serve with steamed rice, crusty bread, or buttered noodles.
🌙 Dinner Recipe: Cheese Platter
🧀 Ingredients:
‣ 1 wheel of brie or camembert cheese
‣ 6-8 slices prosciutto
‣ 8-10 slices salami (shaped into a rose)
‣ 1 cup crackers
‣ 1/2 cup pretzels
‣ 1/2 cup blackberries 🫐
‣ 1/2 cup blueberries
‣ 1/2 cup green grapes 🍇
‣ Fresh raspberries for garnish 🍓
‣ A handful of fresh mint leaves 🌿
Optional Add-ons:
‣ Nuts (like almonds or walnuts)
‣ Honey or fig jam for drizzling 🍯
