Finally!!! I’m showing you guys an easy and authentic vegan kimchi recipe. This batch was SO delicious, I honestly can’t stop eating it. I hope you guys try this recipe out – I know it’s a lot to take in and it might seem a bit confusing, but I tried to outline it for you guys so it makes sense. Please watch the whole video before attempting to make it!

  • I only know rice flour and sticky rice flour. Is sweet rice flour something different ? And if yes, if I cannot find sweet rice flour which of the two firsts should I use ?

  • I have a fermentation glass jar with the glass bowl upside down to form the seal. I put oil in the ditch and not water,since
    Water evaporates and oil doesnt!!
    Im lazy!! I also add a shot of vodka to the batch, it stops mold growth!

  • I'm not sure why u wouldn't list the exact ingredients for one batch, since most ppl aren't going to make 20 Chinese cabbage heads worth of Kimchi.

  • I had no idea kimchi wasn't vegan. ToT I've been eating it for over a year now! I buy it from an asain market that doesn't list all the ingredients and I just assumed it was spiced cabbage. I feel so dumb but so thankful for this video. Thank you for both this recipe and the information. Time to reset the clock on number of days since I ate meat lol.

  • The kelp is a really good idea. I made a batch of vegan kimchi and the sub for all the shrimp was just extra salt and it definitely felt like my kimchi was missing something.

  • You are so disgusting why am I seeing your feet as you’re chopping up your lettuce on your cutting board? That means you’re cutting it on the ground and you need to go get your feet checked out because it looks like you have fungus on your toes.

    LOL i'm an unlikely person because I had 4 and when I seen it in the video I was also that's what y'all use those for we use them to wash in 🤷🏾‍♀️

    But I buy them from my Asian market they are a staple in my house because I have an elderly disabled mother that it's easier for to use this that walk around I use one as well because it's easier and I think instinctively I just use to basins because of my multiracial background Naija Cantonese and Gullah Geechee

  • Actually, everybody that ate my kimchi says it's much better than store bought or restaurant kimchi they had had, and it's vegan.
    Good idea to make the paste in bulk.
