I find it a challenge to look for simple healthy lunch ideas. Thanks for your ideas.In the Netherlands we have no( free) school lunch. Children take there own packed lunch from home. A good schoollunch brought from home consist of whole wheat bread smeared with margarine, lean filling, fruit and vegetables. A glass of semi-skimmed milk or a cup of tea and you're done. The advantage of your own lunch is that your child do not get tempted to take less healthy items from the canteen. The lunch should provide enough nutrians and energy to get through the afternoon. According to the Guidelines for Healthy School Canteens, where the Nutricion Center collaborates, the supply of a healthy schoolcanteen consist of at least 75% of the products from the Food Pyramid (such as fruit, sandwiches, salades) and up to 25% of non-staple foods (like candy and snacks).

I never thought about doing that with the big piece of tomato in the sandwich. That's a good idea especially if you're trying to cut back on certain foods.

Can you make a lasagna meal??? I think I watched almost all your videos and went through all but never seen a lasagna recipe! I love make lasagna with ricotta cheese and out eggs with it but I always find a strange taste about mines? Maybe the sauce I'm using ? Please help!
