It only 'tastes' like a burger because it's in a bun smothered with toppings. Try eating one plain . . . . . not so much.
I find my recipe for burgers is loved by all. I use something called meat.

I simply love the texture and savory taste of beans and I’ll probably make this using the same ingredients but as a mixture in a bowl with rice instead of a patty on a plate with a bun. Yum, thanks!
The secret ingredient was beef
The only thing I would change is not frying up the lentils and beans in vegetable oil, or using any oil at all. Not sure what is in the sauces either.
But it looks delicious and I'm sure it tastes as good as it looks!
