Choc Oat Nests with Strawberry Filling using GF Oats #recipe #dessert #easyrecipe
Baked Choc Oat Nests 🍫🍓 These little cups are a great healthier dessert that take no time at all to whip up 🥰
Makes 5
210 cals
6g protein
You will need:
✅ 1 cup oats, I used a mixture of Traditional Oats & Choc Muesli to make up one cup – SHOP NOW
✅ 100g strawberries
✅ 60g smooth almond butter
✅ 35ml sugar free maple syrup
Topped with:
✅ 60g chocolate of choice, melted
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease a silicone cupcake tray with spray oil
2. Mix together your oats, almond butter and maple syrup until combined. If your nut butter is very thick, add a tablespoon of boiling water to the mix.
3. Divide the oat mixture evenly into your cupcake tray moulds. Push an opening into the centre of each oat base using a spoon. This is where your strawberries will go
4. Bake in the oven for 10-15 mins, take out and let cool
5. Mash your strawberries with a fork to your desired consistency. Fill each oat base centre with the mashed strawberries
6. Melt your chocolate down and cover each cup with melted chocolate. Spread out evenly with a spoon, then refirderate for about an hour. Enjoy!
