Dopamine Detox changed my life, but not in the way you’d think. A couple months ago, I was feeling unmotivated, burned out, and stuck. The dopamine-fast trend was brought to my attention, and I was eager to learn how to reset my mind. But when I looked into it, I realized that many people are thinking about dopamine detox all wrong. There is a lot of misinformation about dopamine. So in this video, I want to share my full protocol, that’s given me mental clarity and focus.

    Your life is worthless in face of govs and corps, they will make you believe that you can become happy if consume some more of that "detox" products and content for the right price

  • Hi, I am usually more of a lurker than a commenter, but I sincerely want to thank you for this video. A few months ago it inspired me to do a dopamine detox. I started with seven days and it was such an eye opening experience in terms of the amount of time I am wasting behind a screen normally. I felt like I had so much time and I have done so many things in that week that genuinely give me joy, but I hardly ever do because I “don’t have time”. I will for sure do another seven days soon.

  • today’s september 29th 2024, i’ve attempted to go on dopamine detoxes 4 times before and it didn’t work but this time i’ll give it my all.
    september 30th 2024, marks the beginning of my detox

  • It is friday at 9:30 PM and as i'm writing this, i am almost finished with day 2 of my dopamine detox. This has been difficult for me. Not that i struggle with controlling my urges, but it's been uncomfortable to say the least. I've mostly just been studying and reading, which i normally don't do. I've at multiple times felt anxious. I remember coming home from school feeling tired because i had to be there for 2 hours longer than normal and just sitting on my bed with my thoughts not knowing what to do. During the reading sessions i would take a break and just walk around my house. Now i'm just gonna take a shower and go to bed at 10 PM and wake up tomorrow at 6 AM. On weekends i normally stay up until 12 and wake up at around 9 or 10. Now that i can't stay up playing video games i'm just going to bed early since i have nothing else to do. To think i still have 5 days left to go. I'm doing a final update when the 7 days are over.

  • Today starts my first day of dopamine detox. I will upload some edits of me after 5 days, 10 days etc. Wish me luck..

  • I'm starting the detox today and i'm ending it the next thursday to see what happens. No social media, gaming, junk food etc. Until it ends. I will leave a comment in a week to let you know how it went

  • Man I needed this video so much. I’ve been so unhappy for the longest time and I think this is the first step to really being happier. I waste so much time scrolling it’s depressing. I need to focus more on the things that will make me happier in the long run.

I do only subscribe to spiritual/ uplifting content on social media and I'm a musician so I have to use it to reach audiences… but I'm so much more mindful now to not endlessly scroll.
